Best Ever Goose Stew
Ingredients:
- 4 to 5 quart slow cooker for 6 to 7 hours
- 1 pound of goose meat. On an average size goose, half of breast is about one pound.
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 package of beef stew mix
- 25 ounces of canned potatoes or a pound and a half of fresh potatoes, cubed
- 1/3 cup diced onion
- 1 cup sliced or chopped carrots or ½ bag (1/2 lb) of whole baby carrots
- 4 ounces of mushrooms, fresh or canned, either whole or sliced.
Instructions:
- Combine water and beef stew mix in slow cooker
- Add goose meat
- Stir in remaining ingredients
- Cover and cook on high for 6 to 7 hours. (I use crock pot liners to make clean up easy)
